Interesting...many ARs in 'used' condition are valuated at $2100 NZD, which equates to about $1380 USD.

A standard capacity AR mag in 'used' condition is valued at $105 NZD/$69USD.

Of course taxpayers are on the hook for costs, but at least those valuations may economically compel SOME to sell back their weapons...though not many if reports are correct.

The fact that Remington 870s and pump/lever action rimfires are on the banned list, though....smdh
