Thanks for the input on bullet selection on my last question. Well since i load my varmint slayers at or into the lands on my single shot guns the big question for me is having a tactical rifle built with a magazine for the first time can or should i find out ( example Seekins bottom metal is what i will be using ) what max length is for magazine, think of what bullet i want to use and deduct ? length and have gun smith ( GA ) chamber with no free bore that way i can chase throat erosion and tinker with bullet length. Well what do you think, i need some answers shooters.

You need freebore. How much is a good question. It might pay to specify a shorter than SAAMI spec throat. This will result in a shorter OAL and give you more throat to chase, possibly extending throat life. This is probably an oversimplification of the issues, but it's also the strategy I chose when I had my pair of L-W BR grade .260 barrels made. They shoot quite well.

With long bullets and short case necks, you will likely end up with the bullet base extending rather quite a bit below the neck/shoulder conjunction. This will decrease case capacity and you'll need to start load development toward the lower end of the charge range, and pay close attenton to pressure signs. Folks have also suggested that this could be a recipe for donuts, so keep an eye open to that possibility as well.
