I have a 10tw 28" .308 barrel. Its a great barrel. Boots has been cutting 5R barrels longer than some other makers have been alive practically. Bugholes sells them here on the Hide.

Ok cool, Boots Obermeyer is about 15 miles from me so I'll probably go to him directly. Only reason I asked is because I hear all this talk about Bartlien and Kreiger but never anything about Obermeyer.

His barrels are great. I built a rifle over the winter and used one of his 11.25" twist 308 bbls, the rifle shoots very well. Im sure you wont be disappointed.I thinks the reason you dont hear so much chatter about his product is that in years past they were difficult to get and wait times tended to be long. He is pretty much a one man operation and was doing alot of govt contract stuff so he kept pretty busy filling contract orders.

Hey thanks a lot...So it sounds like the wait times may be a little better according to the last post...I think a 26in fluted barrel with a break for my model 116 FCSS 7mm mag would be pretty badass
