Rifle Scopes Objective lens near objection port:

I went with a DSA stripper-clip guide scope mount for my Elcan on my PARA FAL.... Not enough clearance to load with strippers (rifle has fixed 10 round mag). I'm worried that sparks/debris etc from the opening ejection port could scratch/damage my scope lens. Should I go to the full
rail mount or get a killflash to protect the lens? Take a look at why I'm concerned:
