Ocular Adjustment
Trying to explain this over phone not working
and i thought there was a thread here that explained it, not finding it
or anything that will help this guy get it setup right
if you have links to info please post, so he can read thru it and get his scope adjusted

TIA

Re: Ocular adjustment

Do it outside. Put a piece of white paper directly in front of the objective. Look through the eyebox and make gross adjustments on the ocular adjustment of the scope to focus the reticle. The lines of the crosshair should be crisp, not blurry. Then look away and let your eyes adust to looking at something far away. Repeat the process a few times until the reticle is crisp the moment you put your eye to the scope. Then use the focus adjustment of the scope to focus at a target 100 yards away. Now repeat the first process above.

Re: Ocular adjustment

Thnx guys
He is saying reticle just gets bigger and smaller but is always clear
guess I will have to do a face to face and get him sorted

FFP? sounds like he is turning the zoom/power collar, not the eyepiece
