Barrel: rainer Arms mod2 18 inches 223 wyle
Had 240 rounds on it when I start the test.
Powder: 8208 xbr 23.0 to 24.0 dropped on a fx120
Primers:
Rem 7.5 first row
Fed 205MAR second row.
Seat depth: 2.260
Bullet: Sierra 77gr smk

Test shot at 200 yards, off a bench off sandbags.
Holds and generally felt much better over the gun when shooting the federal primers.

Next step is seating test at 2.260, 2.255, 2.250, and 2.245

I think there is a clear node at 23.2 and again coming in at 24.0. Oddly enough 23.6, a very popular load seems to be a scatter node with both primers.
I never would have thought I needed to load 24.2, as most show pressure before that. My brass looks good at 24.0. Lake City brass, annealed, sized, and mandrel.

Where do you think I should go? I am really wanting to load 23.9 if not 24.0 for velocity sake (2750) but somewhat concerned with a lot change with 8208xbr.

What does the hide say?

I'm thinking 23-23.4 looks similar. Definitely more consistent with the 205's.

I'd load that 23.2 or 23.3 and play around with seating a bit to see if they tighten up. I did 2.21-2.26 in 10 thou increments when I did mine. Settled on 2.245-2.25", but that was with Hornady 75's

But I could also see loading a few at 23.9 and seeing what happens
