Yesterday I shot another OCW test and I was hoping someone could help me figure out the results. I shot a test a couple weeks ago and had some mixed head stamp brass which I think messed with the results some. This time I made sure that all the headstamps matched.

The rifle is a Remington 700 in .308, 20" barrel, 1:12 twist.
Lake City Match brass
IMR 4895
175 SMKs
CCI BR-2

Shot at 100yds off a bench with bipod up front and bag in the rear. It was about 55° with maybe 3-5 mph winds.

For some reason the pictures are showing up turned on there side and I dont know how to fix them from my phone. Please look at the writing on the target to see which way goes up.

As always thank you for your help and any advice.

i would say that 43.0 is going to be your ocw. it is pretty clear that your scatter nodes are 42.4 and 43.6 ocw should be between the 2 and your 43.0 prety much confirms that to me anyway. see what some others tell you. the split groups ((2) shots in the same hole and the 3rd some place close) is normally a bolt lug contact issue that can be solved pretty easy i had to fix it on my remington 700 308 also.

I was thinking that the 43gr looked about the best to me too but wanted to see what some other opinions might be.

Can you tell me what you ended up doing to the bolt on your gun to fix the problem? I have been wanting to get the action trued on the gun for a while now so maybe it could help with this problem. I always just thought it was me pulling the shot.
