Dunno what the weather will be...this time of the year we could see floods, tornados, or snow.

I was going to check with you about this! Cool. Might have to load ammo tomorrow - headed back to Pittsburg on Mon morning. I'd like to finish up there on Wed, but might not get back till Fri night. And I have a pistol class scheduled for Sat. Going to be a fun filled weekend!

Current Sunday forecast.

Meanwhile, I am GTG with the Deuce.

I'll be there! I will not be donating any blood this time either. Got a few new things to try out with this new set up. Did some load testing and bedded the action. Also got an adjustable cheek rest. All I have left to do now is get rid of this stupid X-pro trigger.

Greg: I have found that a pop rivit cut down so its just the ball with a tiny stem will work in place of the ball bearing. I have also heard that a safety (or rear take down pin) detent spring for an AR can be made to work to replace a extractor spring.

Hope it helps

OK, I have the spring still intact, and I have pop rivets. I still need to acquire or fabricate the extractor piece itself. Some idea of the width (rim to outside width) would be helpful.

Did I see snow in the forcast for Sunday? I thought we were past that?

I didn't check the forcast for Odessa, but Bing was showing snow showers for Sunday. What a mixed up season.
