all of my centerfire bolt shooting is 223 @ 600yd. 77gr exclusively. outperforms 69gr by a bunch in my 2 guns. wondering if anyone has experience with some lesser brands-sierra,starline,mead,others. i have had good results with freedom munitions. so,maybe other off brands might be worthwhile. $1/r shipped, taxed is about my limit.
5.56 i really like IMI but that is gonna be gone soon like russian steel and for same reasons.

I have ben buying IMI 77 gr SMK from Green Country Ammo, never herd of them but I've got a few 500 cases from them and no issues, decent price and around $21.00 shipping, to my door works out to .96 per round. Also they have 223 77 gr SMK made buy On Target Ammo in Missouri for 37.39 for 50 rnd. box, have not tried this ammo but if/when the IMI dries up will give them a try, if the shipping is the same for 500 case would be about .79 per round. Don't know if anyone out there has tried any On Target Ammo but if it shoots decent not a bad price and I'll be getting some soon, any info on the this ammo would be great.

tx. will look into those. hard part is finding a place with 2 or 3 options to try for box or so to try before getting a case +.
