Oil spray on scope

Anybody have a problem with oil spray on their ocular lens when running suppressed? I just put this rifle together, and noticed after a couple of magazines that I had spray coming out of the charging handle gap and coating the scope lens. It's a 16" midlength, H2 buffer, auto carrier, and BCM Gunfighter charging handle with an AAC M4-2000 can. I am running it very wet with motor oil with a little grease mixed in for break-in, so I'm sure that's a part of it. Still, if it's blowing oil out there, it seems that carbon may also start building up once the round count starts going up. Anyone else the same problem? I'm considering a dab of RTV to close the gap, or something over the gap to redirect it.

Grainy phone pics after about 4 magazines:

Re: Oil spray on scope

I had this on my AR and fixed this by adding a lens cover that folds shut and just left it open facing down so that the lid blocked the gas jet.
