A Black Soldier’s Heroism, Overlooked in 1965, May Finally Be Lauded in 2021 (Published 2021)
Comrades repeatedly told the Army that Capt. Paris Davis, one of the first Black officers in the Special Forces, deserved the Medal of Honor. The Army kept losing the paperwork.
Ok Folks... write your congressmen, Senators, whomever.
This guy deserves a recognition he did not get during VN. Hardcore warrior here.
His 'paperwork' kept getting lost during the early '60's and the SF community has pushed for his recognition for MoH for almost 50 years... and been ignored. His brother warriors know what he did. The 'committees' have snubbed him for half-a-century.
Get your SH butts in gear for a warrior. And get this man recognized for what he earned.
