I probably knew this at some point, but I have not done much long range in the last two years
I got out to a Field Precision match a weekend or two ago. Three strings of fire of 20 rounds at 600 yards. String 1 and 2 were shot with brand new Lapua brass with my normal load. String 3 was shot with Lapua brass that has been shot 6x. I neck resize only for about 3 firings and then full length.
The new brass loads were significantly more accurate than the old brass loads. The verticle was out to the 8 ring a bunch on the last string, and not at all on the first two.
What gives?
