Gunsmithing Old mauser 98

I have a old mod 98 probably WW1 era, it has been rebarreled with a chrome lined BAR barrel,just wondering if it would be worth the time and $ to put a new stock, and d&t for scope. It shoots fine and the bore and chamber look about 95%.Thanks in advance. By the way,I am new to the forum ,and so far I like what I have seen.

Best description of a mauser military action I have ever seen. I kinda like playing with them, but cannot imagine dropping a lot of coin in one.
