Old Remington 700 actions

I just picked up a Remington 700 6mm Remington Varmint circa 1970's production. I have the action designated for a .260 Remington build.

As Remmy 700's run would this be considered a better one?

iv heard the older rems are better but im not sure. it will be fun to see what people have to say about this

I've got several from that era and ro me they seem to be a little nicer and more desirable for a build that the newer ones.

their all the same as far as the action the bolts differ a slight bit, your good to go im my $.02 if its not assembled barreled action i would get it trued just in case the barrel treads are "buggered" lol
