My boss has the same rifle and very similar scope. It shoots very well. I informed him that when its up for sale the line forms behind me.

That is a beautiful, gorgeous rig. I disagree about the scope being overkill, I think it fits perfectly. I have a soft spot for these old Balvars and Unertls; the guy who tried to teach me to shoot thought the world of them, and I guess I sort of acquired his taste for them. Very nice, you should be proud.
