Rifle Scopes older 12X Leupold scope?

I recently bought a rifle from a lady and it had a Leupold 12 power(fixed)and adj objective scope on it. I am curios what its good for. I use variable power scopes for hunting and target shooting so what is a 12 power good for and last but not least. What is it worth in pretty good condition(a couple ring marks). I really dont have much use for it so I will most likely sell it here but dont know what it is worth. Thanks in advance.

I like the 12x mag. does it have a target turrets?

I am not sure if they are target turrets or not. They are really short turrets.Any idea on the value of it. I know where I can get an older fixed 10X also but I am kinda hesitant to buy it at this point.thank you
