What is the story on that one Sirhr?

Actually knock-offs of American Browning M2. Called the HO103... used same ammo as Breda which was in Japanese inventory.

No date and place listed and some speculation that it was a photoshop job...

But that getup would be 6K rounds per minute. If it existed. Possible a GI stunt as well... just stacked up for a photo. Ammo feed and case clearance would be problematic!

If you look closely, li looks like the top layer are secured to the plate

Short of the photoshop possibility it looks more like something that was captured. There are broken brackets and mounts on the left and right.

In bootcamp 1980, in the Norwegian army, we found a contraption on the scrapheap that was a AA lavette for six ( or it might have been eight) HK G3s side by side in a row. The lavette had a AA ringsight and trigger in the center. Fortunatly our CO had a sense of humour and let us test it. We fitted the lavette to a M6 truck and had a lot of fun on the shooting range. I have not been able to find a picture of this lavette on the net.

The MG81 setup in Ledzep's picture has 13000rpm 8x57 😎

Is that shit just mild steel pipe?
And then there was this model of sneak boat with large punt gun (apparently anything they mounted on a small boat...a punt, if you will... was a punt gun). This pic shows an eastern shoreman in his sneak boat with hand paddles used to...well, sneak up on a raft of duck, often at night, in the winter, and hell no they didn't have insulated Sika clothing to keep them dry and warm! haha

And I'm pretty dang sure that none of those guns were ever proof tested! haha

Those guys were some tough mofos working whatever game/seafood came in season to piece together a living.
