I have a Spuhr 41808, 1.73" tall and 18 MRAD of cant. It's discontinued, which sucks, but I also need about 22 MRAD of tilt for my Zeiss LRP S5 (40.7 MRAD internal travel). YOu might even need 25 MRAD for the S3 that has 46.5 MRAD internal travel.

Any one-piece mounts with 20-25 MIL/MRAD cant? Or a good option for stacking a pic rail on a pic rail to add cant to the scope mount that doesn't get out of hand height wise?

I know I know, get a prism, but I'm looking to see if there are options for avoiding that now.

I have used the Era Tac mounts with NO issues... https://www.eratac.de/en/products/tactical-mounts/one-piece-mounts/

Thanks for heads up on that mount guys. The thing is, after thinking carefully about it, that mount gives me 20.4 MIL whereas the 41808 gives me 18. I don't think it's worth switching mounts for 2.4 MIL, and it makes me more inclined to get the S&B 6-36 since I'd only be giving up 1 MRAD because I can't use all the 40.7 in the Zeiss.

THe thing holding me back from the Schmidt is the reticle. The only one that's close for me is that P5 or whatever it's called, and the center dot is 0.07 MIL - more than double what it should be, IMHO - covers up too much of my target in ELR. The make this M1F1 or something like that for their 60 power scope, which has a 0.03 MRAD dot - if they offered that in the 6-36, I'd probably be all over it.

Vote for prism! But why not just get a custom pic rail with more can’t. Murphy precision is badass if you want a custom rail made

It also gives you an extra 45 mils.
338 Lapua Improved. 300 grainers can go a long ways.

Interesting....the current PDF does say 0.07mil centre dot.
I have an earlier PDF that states 0.05mil..

the idea is to get to 3250+ yards with the 375 & the 50 using the available internal adjustment and skip the complexity and expense of the CT; I"d probably just get the NF prism anyway.

But I'm probably just going to settle for 3000 yards

Yes, and the new spec implies that the dot is wider than the adjacent lines which doesn't make sense.

Yes, I'm aware of the IVEY, thanks. I was wondering about a non-adjustable mount.

It doesn't make any sense for the scope manufacturers (S&B and Zeiss and probably others) to keep pushing the internal elevation adj upwards of and over 40 MRAD, when the biggest cant we have on a Spuhr is 18 MRAD, and even that mount has been discontinued.

Desert Tech ..... HTI ..... HEAVY Recoil ... IVEY MOUNT = NO !!!

Are you saying that the ivy mount is not solid under heavy recoil?

Get Mirage ULR to make you a custom rail.
I had him make me 100moa rail.
May as well get the extended version now so it gives you something to clip a charlie or prism onto later

I just purchased this Eratac because it was listed in RAL8000 to go with my S&B 5-25 in RAL8000.
It really is Dark Earth to match the Steiner.
The S&B 1-8CC in Pantone is a much better match.
The Eratac has 30MOA built in.
This all will go on a Rem 700 in 300 Win Mag.
    More to come!

The Ivey is fine on small low recoiling calibres...but it does not hold 100% with larger high recoiling calibres. Stephen Ivey even sent a optional manual lock/tension assembly to try and eliminate the issues i had on my HTI. In the end i went back to a fixed Spuhr mount.
