Watch the clip, it shows the high stick eventually. Then it goes on to show the trainer picking up teeth off the ice. The hockey player came back in the contest to score in the shootout!

Re: One tough mother!

Malarchuck actually had his Juggular vein severed, took over 300 stiches to close him up, spent a single night in the hospital (one f-in night after having his juggular cut) and returned to practice 4 days later and played the l
in the last period of the final game of the season 2 weeks after tge injury. Take that NBA player who sits for weeks at a time with plantar fasciitis.

Re: One tough mother!

I was at the game here in Winnipeg, years ago, when one of the players got his throat slashed by a blade.

He was laying face-down on the ice, and the red pool of blood just "appeared" under him, and grew incredibly fast.

It was a 'moment', for sure. Can't remember for sure, but it might have been the Kings. Dunno.

Or maybe it was with the Kings when they clothes-lined a player. Down for the count, and then some. Dropped like a factory barrel.

I remember my Grandmother taking control of the 'little-clicker' whenever Hockey Night in Canada came on, and the Nordiques were playing. She'd claim that she was "in the middle of watching the fights, and a hockey-game broke out." Ooh, she was a feisty one. God rest her soul,

A dude from the Flyers got a puck in the face. Lost 7 or 8 teeth abd about 75 stitches in his mouth. Came back in the third period. He also cought a puck in the face in the playoffs last year and came back a few games later
