Suppressors Opinions of SAS Arbiter

Re: Opinions of SAS Arbiter

I have a SAS Ti Arbiter, and I like it a lot! You have to take my opinion with a grain of salt though, as this is the only suppressor I have ever owned.

Did a search and came up with nothing.
I have never owned a suppressor, but have read that the Arbiter is equal to the higher priced ones (Tiger Shark)
I'm not sure why one would be so much more money than another.
Still doing some research.
Thanks for the answers guys.

Re: Opinions of SAS Arbiter

I like my TI Arbiter. Sounds good. I do have a bit of POI shift. I haven't tested it to see if it's repeatable. One thing to note, is for whatever reason my SOT had a heck of a time corresponding with SAS. Not sure what the deal was, but I'm pretty sure I've seen other posts where people had a similar issue.

If you're willing to wait, and your SOT isn't the impatient type, then go for it.

Re: Opinions of SAS Arbiter

I've been VERY impressed by their level of suppression when compaired to the Shark. When you closed your eyes, the 2 sounded the same. Less than 1/2 the cost.

As stated above. FIND ONE IN STOCK!

You'll be VERY happy with its performance.

Check with Sotexhunter here on the hide. He's a stocking dealer. Could be faster even with the FORM3 transfer to your dealer if you're not in TX. Good prices but make sure of your in state SOT/Dealer's transfer fees.

Re: Opinions of SAS Arbiter

Tim has them in stock. As for contacting him, drop him a line on his site. He's a "one man show" building a shit load of cans. It's either talk or build cans. I believe, when you call his # he states, "leave an E-mail and I'll get with you faster than a voicemail". Hope this helps for those who want one.

Re: Opinions of SAS Arbiter

Tim's a good dude, and I bought 3 cans off of him that I am still awaiting Form 4. He is a one man show, and it can be very difficult to get a hold of him email, or phone. Plus, by no fault of his own, he has a hard time with his examiner which results in LONG form 3 wait times.

I'm still waiting to hear my cans, but his cans reputation and the price are hard to pass up.

If I ever need another, I'll try to find a stocking dealer.

Re: Opinions of SAS Arbiter

The POI shift is an interesting point. My Ti Arbiter is a 30 cal and I have almost no noticable POI shift on my 308. However, I shot it for the first time on my 243 the other day. Good and quiet, and very nice groups but a 2 full MOA shift down. No horizontal shift at all.
