Rifle Scopes Opinions on a one piece mount for a Razor -5-20 by50

I could use some expert help picking a 35 mm one piece mount for a Vortex Razor 5-20 by50. It will be mounted on a AR10 in 6.5 Creedmoor. So far Im considering the Aadmount, Vortex and Larue mounts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Badger is a nice unit too if you don't need QD. I think it looks better than the Vortex and is less expensive than Aadmount and Spuhr, which is not to say anything bad about Badger. I am not a fan of Larue and will not own any of their products; I've used them on weapons at work and I think there are better out there, to include QDs, and Mark comes off as a tool.

On the expensive side ERA-Tac and Spuhr. Both are solid but very expensive (>$400 piece). One thing to remember is that your scope/rifle will only be as good as your ring/mount combination.

I went Spuhr on my GAP-10. Expensive, but as stated, you’re only as good as your mount. There is more going on with a gas gun, recoil wise. The Spuhr makes some incredibly good mounts. Mounted correctly, and torqued right, it’s not moving.

I went Spuhr on my JP 6 creed. The Spuhr mount is a work of art.
I would not recommend a Larue vertical split scope mount.

Thanx for your replies. It looks like buy once cry once, Ill pull the trigger on the Spuhr mount! Im new to the long range precision shooting. But with the help of you fellows and the wealth of information available on this site, my learning curve has been at the minimum, cut in half!

I have a Bobro 0° mount. Very nice and strudy. Lockup is solid.

The last Gen 1 Razor I had, it was mounted in an ARC M10 QD-L.... great mount! My only gripe was the built in bubble level was difficult to see while behind the gun. Other than that, ARC makes solid products!

I have a couple of Sphur mounts and they are expensive but IMO the best mounts you can buy, would stay away from Larue have one on an AR, the vertical split rings and the QD system suck, have a Bobro on another AR and its a good mount but would not put it on a precision rifle, if you want a good rock solid mount get a Sphur.
