With a 24 inch tube assuming that the florescent ballast is the issue,
How close can I get a florescent light strip before it would become
an issue with my scales. I use a beam and verify With digital.
Would 30 inches be far enough away?
Thanks

How long is a piece of string?
Just joking!
I think it is something you are going to have to try.
Just wire the fluro up and hang it temporary with cord from each end as high as it will go.
No fluro is going to upsett a manual beam scale.
I guess you are concerned about the digital scale.
Throw some weights on the beam scale and check them on the digital. Record the results.
Then power up the fluro light and do the same test again.
