So, im in the process of collecting parts for my next build and refresh.
The decision for the sbr has been decided.
11 inch 6.5 grendel sbr
Optic: vector optics continental 1-8x24 ed fiber second focal plane
Offset 45: vector optics frenzy fa 1x18x22 enclosed.
The optic in question is for my 20 inch upper.
I currently have a
Sig Sauer Sierra 3 bdx 6.5x20 second focal plane
Kilo 1600 range finder
I bought this before I really knew anything and was still relatively new to the scene.
The bdx system being the main decision.
It intrigued me and appeared super useful.
As im still new, im now questioning moving on from it and moving to a traditional First focal plane setup.
My distance shooting is near non existent as I live in a communist state. So my locals are 100-200 yards max.
With from what i hear a 1000 yard being in the western part of my state.
And im not a hunter.
Should I keep what I have on the 20 inch?
Steal the Sierra 6 5x30 from my .308?
Or move on to a regular FFP scope?
I'm looking at another vector optics continental 5x30 as the replacement
Thanks
