Hello, I was wondering if I could get some thoughts on a scope I'm considering for my new rifle. The scope I'm looking at is the Millett TRS-1. A friend has the DMS-1 for his M4 and overall I was rather impressed with it. I'm putting is on a 20" POF P-308. While I would love to put a Leupold Mark4 M1 on the gun my budget just won't accommodate it. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Re: Optic help

One of the guys @ our police range has been using a demo for the last 4 months. His has been really good. It tracks accurately and for the low cost he has been reaaly impressed with the quality. He will have it for 2 more mos.

Its a great scope for the money. You can also look @ the Nikon Buckmaster or a Monarch near that price point. Good luck

Re: Optic help

Those POF 308's are incredible machines. I was looking at the ballistic reports on their site today. They are sub half MOA guns....shows what a gas gun can do. Accurate as hell. I would want to spend a little more (maybe $500-600) and get a front focal plane lense.
