I recently purchased a LMT MWSE .308 and I am planning on putting a Nightforce 5.5x22x50 Optic on it. I was wondering if anyone on here has experience with what ring set/height works best on this platform. Thanks so much for your input and thank you for having me!

Re: Optic/Rings Input Needed

welcome lockdown, I use a regular set of rings, as I don't plan on taking the scope on and off, the extra high work well and the PRS stock adjust enough to have a really good cheek weld. I f you want a detachable mount, the LArue is excellent and so is the Bobro.
hope this helps

Re: Optic/Rings Input Needed

The MWS is a monolithic upper so there's no bridging involved.

I agree that regular rings or a NF Unimount are best for that platform and that scope. You may not need the cantilever, but it won't hurt either. As for height, that will depend on your stock. If you're running a collapsible, you might want it as low as that 50mm obj will allow. The NF 1.375" Unimount would do the trick nicely.
