Optic Suggestions for a MK12?

I am in line to purchase a new Centurion Arms MK 12 in the next couple of months or so. This is not going to be a "clone" MK12 so optic choices are wide open. So far I am considering Trijicon 2-10X36 or 1-8X28 at the low end and Leupold Mark5HD 2-10 or NF ATACR 1-8 or NXS 2.5-10X42 as a higher end optic. I am familiar with these brands and have confidence in them. I do not wish to go above the price line of an Atacr 1-8 in considering other alternatives. I am not a dedicated PRS shooter so very high end scopes are not in my area of consideration, as much as I might otherwise like to consider them. What are other reasonable options that might not exceed $3000? Thanks in advance for all who respond.

I’d take a good look at this one.

Athlon Helos Gen 2, 2-12 punch surprisingly high above its weight. To me its the perfect form factor and mag range for a 16in SPR doing steels to 600. If you plan to shoot past 600, consider 18x-20x at the top end, its just so much easier.
Mark 5 3-18 is a good choice since its not much heavier than the 2-10.
A used ATACR 4-16 with the locking turrets is also a great choice.
Stretch the budget and you can go
S&B ultra short or March 1.5-15

Well in my choice for optice for the MK12, options are the Leupold mk4 mr/t 3-9 or early 2.5-8, Nightforce 2.5-10x24, or something that would be field expedient like a Leupold M3A 10x from an M24 or Mk4 3.5-10x40 from a M110. Nothing really above 10x.

Big vote for the mk5 3.6-18 with T3 reticle. Leaves lots of room for clip ons if you shoot at night.

MK5 3-18 for sure. Running a Leupold mount with a Koeng aimpoint adapter.

I think a smaller, lighter weight optic is the best choice for something like a MK12.
trijicon credo 2-10 or 2.5-15x42 would be pretty solid choices.
Vortex 1-10 would be a damn good choice.

It all depends on what you want to do with it. I like lower power on ARs and run a 1-8.5 that's not made anymore. If I had to pic an optic made today, I would run the new 2.5-10 Mark5HD Lupy.

Thanks to all for the comments and suggestions. Just heard from Centurion Arms that my MK12 is finished and should be shipped to my FFL in the next day or two. I'll let you know what I wind up with.

The MK12 has arrived. Centurion Arms did a great job on this one. For now I went with the Trijicon 2-10X36 mrad scope with Geissele rings. My LGS had the scope in stock, and I liked what I saw when I gave it a close look. If it turns out not to be what I had hoped for, I will go with either a NF or Leupold. Thanks again to all for the suggestions and comments. Much appreciated.

I am in the same boat. I am looking at the following options:
Athlon BTR Gen2 2-12X42
Viper PST Gen2 3-15X44
Viper PST Gen2 2-10X32
Strike Eagle 3-18X44

Any feedback on these models would be appreciated. Open to other suggestions also.

Thanks

I am pretty happy with the 3.6-18 mk5 on my BCM mk12 rifle. On 3.6 its relatively easy to shoot closer targets quickly, and easily gets to 500 yards on 18. Glass quality is solid, and the size of the 3.6 is great for the platform.
