I want a Falcon 5-25. No vendor in the US has them.

Which might be what you call a "clue"

Even the best scope is not worth buying if the support is poor. Not being able to keep your web page online, not having local retailers is a bad sign.

Re: Optics Warehouse

If you want to import a scope from us in Europe, we will punish you with a scrutinizing export process, including background check and a $2000 class MCMLXIXV certificate and a hefty export tax of 2500% - everything in order to balance out any process that is needed when we europeans try to buy something cool from the US..

Re: Optics Warehouse

I ordered a Falcon scope from them about a month and a half ago....wanted a Falcon Menace scope right away and couldn't find one in stock anywhere. Obvioulsy, I would have prefered to buy from a US distributor and Hide sponsor, but nobody had any.
I ordered online from Optics Warehouse UK with a credit card. After I placed the order I got an email confirming my order. About 5 days later I got an email saying it had cleared customs, and 3 or 4 days later it arrived here in Texas. When I got my credit card bill I was charged right at what Optic Warehouse estimated the US $ amount would be....so no surprises there. All in all, it was easy and I got my scope in about a week and a half.

Re: Optics Warehouse

just dont forget, you have to pay a customs fee for almost everything that is imported, which is usually around 8%. sometimes a very nasty little surprise for first time international buyers.
