Optimal T3x .308 barrel length for suppressor host

My Deadair Sandman -S should be out of jail soon. Im going to have my factory barrel threaded for KeyMo brake and figured I may have it cut down a tad while they’re at it.

The rifle will be used for hunting, so having a short rifle is nice. I’ve also heard the Keymo is a boat anchor so any weight savings will be a benefit.

I’ll be shooting factory loads out to 600 yards at the range, but I can’t imagine having an opportunity to shoot any further than that.

16" should be plenty good. Had a 16" 308 for awhile and regularly shot it to 1000

Agreed, 16" for that use. I have a Sandman and keymo as well on a 20" and mt plan is to have it chopped down to 16".
