Optimum 6.5 Creed Barrel length

I'm going to apologize in advance, because I'm sure this has been discussed, but I couldn't find it in a search.
I'm putting together a 6.5 AR to use mainly for PRS style matches. It won't be a hunting or defense rifle, I've got other things for that. I had pretty much settled on a 20" barrel, but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't go with a 22". I plan on shooting mainly suppressed.
My concern is overall length at some of these stages, but then again, it's only a 2" difference.
I'm looking at mid-range stuff, Wilson and BA, as I would like to stay around $350 or so.
Would I be giving up too much with the 20"?

22", +2 gas system is the knee of curve you are looking for.

Consider Criterion barrels as well...

And 20 or 22" suppressed... for me it would dependent on how long the suppressor is as well.

I don't feel like a 20" is losing much compared to a 22".

That said , all my match barrels are 22" , unsuppressed.

I shoot .260 in a gasser with a 22" barrel. It has a +2 gas system which seems to reduce the hammering given port pressures.

He's talking about the length of the gas system (barrel, gas tube). Carbine, Intermediate, Rifle, Rifle+2, etc.

OK, so I get the +2 gas system is the way to go, along with a good AGB, but who makes them? The places I listed don't specify a +2, only rifle length. I spec'd one out with Kreiger, and they don't even list the gas length as an option.

I know proof has +2 in their steel and carbon PR10 barrels.

I'd also check with Compass Lake.
