I am planning on buying one of the new Schmidt 3-20 PMII's once they become readily available. I am trying to get firm details of the options available on these optics, but am having a lot of difficulty finding solid, complete info. I would think that this info is out there, since the release is getting close.
A couple guys (Rob01, thanks) have already offered some help, but I would love to see a comprehensive list of exactly how these can be ordered, and really would rather not have to call Schmidt directly. Can anyone help me out?
To be more specific- It appears that I can order the 3-20x50 in a mil/mil format, with CCW turrets. That much I know I want.
I am curious about exactly which reticles will be available. I have and love P4f reticles in other scopes and really am leaning that way, just wonder about the increased mag range. I dont use my optics much at low range, but do hunt, so a 3x shot would be possible, and I have never seen a P4f at 3x. 4x seems like a minimum to me.
Also curious about colors. Obviously not a big deal, but if I could get a factory paint job to match the custom color on my Patriot 308, I would.
