Ordering H-S Precision Stock, PST 007 or PST 093?

I am getting ready to order my stock but I am not sure which one of these 2 models I need. The PST 007 says it is for 24-30" barrels but then goes to say it is for the large 5r contour barrels like on the m24. The PST 093 says it is for shorter barrels however the standard Remington varmint models/contour will work as well like the Police.

I have a Remington 700 5r Milspec so I am not sure which one will be better? I don't want a huge gap between my stock and the barrel so I am wondering if the PST 007 will be too much? I know the 5r Milspec is the Remington varmint contour. Any thoughts?

My advice would be to call H&S Precision and ask to talk to a stock representative. I did that and got some good information from them and ordered a stock.

Tryimg to remember from my conversation with HS. If I'm not mistaken the difference is with forend length. The short barrels look out of place in the 007. This I know.
Like the previous poster stated... Contact HS not Stocky's.

It's a matter of personal preference. Personally, I like the look of the longer forend on a 20" gun. I vote for getting the PST007. The difference in the barrel contour is only .10"(.850" to .950"). Not a big deal, and it allows room for upgrading to a larger contour(M24 .950") barrel in the future without having to modify your stock.

Ah ok I got ya. That makes sense as I just looked at both of the OAL and there is a difference of a couple inches. I am assuming the stock that came off my 5r was of PST007 length then, which would be a regular full size stock?

The PST007 is the regular length stock. If your 5R is 24", it would have come with a stock of that length. They make the shorter PST093 for 18"-20" barrels, but personally I like the regular length PST007 on 20" guns.
