Oreck air purifier

Does anybody here have one and do they actually work? Wife has the bug and believes the sales pitch. Me, not so much. If they are crap, can you recommend a brand that will work or at least help. I did Google reviews but who knows who writes them.

Eddie, the oreck air pruifier works off of ioinizationing the air to remove particles. (I know I cant spell, and I gave up careing a long time ago) The science behind it is actually sound, and it does work. It's not quite snake oil as you'd think. It's just not the 1 billion pecerent effective as the hype suggests. The air has to go through it to be purified. I would tell you to be honest, a UV setup in your HVAC system is far more effective.

Have one. Spent a metric butt load of cash because the wife wanted one.

Wouldn't be without it.
