Oregon: Marine Vets Weapons Seized for Remarks About Antifa

A former Marine who said at a protest that he would “slaughter” Antifa members in self-defense, if attacked, recently had his five weapons confiscated by the FBI, according to reports.

The temporary seizure came through the use of Oregon’s “red flag” law, which allows law enforcement agencies and family members to seek a court order to have weapons taken away from an individual viewed as potentially violent. Such laws are often opposed by supporters of Second Amendment gun rights.

The former Marine, Shane Kohfield, 32, was not charged with any crime, but surrendered five guns, including an AR-15 rifle, according to Phil Lemman, Oregon’s acting deputy state court administrator, the Washington Examiner reported.

The action was reportedly prompted by remarks Kohfield made in public during a demonstration outside the home of Portland, Ore., Mayor Ted Wheeler in August, the Oregonian/OregonLive reported.

“If Antifa gets to the point where they start killing us, I’m going to kill them next," Kohfield told a crowd, according to the Oregonian. “I’d slaughter them, and I have a detailed plan on how I would wipe out Antifa.”

Kohfield previously wrote to U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, a former Navy SEAL, to share his concern about Antifa and voice his support for having the group declared a terrorist organization, a step that President Trump has considered.

Portland has been the site of frequent violent clashes between members of far-left Antifa and supporters of conservative groups such as Proud Boys. The mayor and other city officials have faced criticism for their handling of such events.

Why are some 2020 Democrats afraid to denounce Antifa?Video
Based on the court order, Kohfield – who served two tours of duty in Iraq -- was committed to a veterans hospital for 20 days and was barred from participating in subsequent protests in Portland.

According to the Oregonian, Kohfield conceded that he probably appeared threatening to other people, but he never intended to cause harm.

“I looked unhinged,” he told the newspaper. “I looked dangerous and have the training to be dangerous.”

The FBI would not comment about the case, the Oregonian reported. It was unclear when Kohfield’s weapons would be returned to him.

The Oregon Legislature narrowly passed the state’s red-flag law in 2017, with no Republican support in the House and backing from only one Republican in the Senate. Gov. Kate Brown, a Democrat, signed the bill into law on Aug. 15 of that year and the law took effect Jan. 1, 2018.

Anything we can do to help?
The only thing to can do to get it started quicker is write or call your congress critter, tell them to speed/step up the false flags they are doing, as your tired of waiting for the final battle to began. If they want a clue into how it will end, tell him the COTUS will win out in the end.

What is probably not being discussed is now that Mr. Kohfield has been disarmed, he will be left defenseless after the doxing and ANTIFA finds out where he lives.

Will the FBI and other law enforcement agencies be there to stop an attack?

No one can stop whats coming, an those in power want it so,... Do your own math,...

They know it's wrong, but they are afraid that if they don't act on a red flag call, and the subject does do something, then they're crucified by the press and the public. And nobody cares if one or two people lose their rights and are denied due process if the illusion of public safety is achieved.

IOLA, Tex. (KBTX) - Iola ISD is working to put parents at ease after a student's Facebook post sparked an investigation on the second day of school. The district and law enforcement said there is no threat.

Last week a student made a comment about his school with an older photo of him with a handgun. Investigators say on August 22, an old picture of a male student was posted on social media from when he was 9-years-old. The photo that was taken years ago showed the child and an adult shooting in the country with the child holding a pistol. The Facebook post also mentioned the school with the photo.

"It was a young student, had a handgun in the picture and part of the wording on the picture it had the word "school" in it. So we take that stuff very seriously here. As we investigated we found out the picture was a four-year-old picture," said Scott Martindale, Iola ISD Superintendent.

"The picture had a caption that mentioned school. It did not threaten the school whatsoever it just mentioned the school," he explained.

The district and law enforcement said no gun was found after the boy was questioned.

"It took us five minutes to handle this situation and handle it appropriately," said Martindale. "It was before school started. We had two younger students report something to our elementary principal. By 7:55 the elementary principal tracked that student down that had the posting," he added.

"I believe they took the correct action to protect our children," said Danny Lemley, who has two children in the district.

He's also a new school board member and was part of their safety council.

The district recently adopted a guardian plan to arm some staff.

"It was a hard decision to come to that but the times that we’re having now... It seems to be correct with the times that we need to take precautions to guard our children," Lemley said.

While no threat made to the school, the Grimes County Sheriff's Office said there still was a need to investigate.

"The issue was not that the juvenile had a firearm, he was under adult supervision at the time he had the firearm. The sole reason for the investigation was that the comment was made about the school in conjunction with a firearm," said Lt. Daniel Wagnon, with the Grimes County Sheriff's Office.

"That's another sign of our times. We've got to be extra careful on what we post," said Lemley.

The superintendent said Friday the boy will be disciplined according to district policy. Parents and guardians were notified by the district of that incident.

The County Attorney is also reviewing the case. At this time no charges have been filed.

Disciplined for what?

If you are a state or entity thereof an you don't exercise your rights under the COTUS you become a lackey, to those who seek to remove you from the equation. The COTUS says "THEY",... the THEY it speaks of,.... is the states,... not the Farrel gov.
The FBI acted on whose behalf to arrest this man ? Who called them? Why is the FBI investigating this shit, is their LE world that slow, all the Chinese gone home or what? Why they protecting Antifa from threats, but allow them to spew their hate on line an openly on the streets? Who is leading this wrong against the COTUS an who/how many within their ranks are so blinded they go along with this?
Speaking the the fbi why are they moving so many from DC to Huntsville Alabama? Things that slow or do they feel that business will be good in the southeastern US trying to round up or spy on different factions who believe in the COTUS over the NWO/OWO?

And nobody cares if one or two people lose their rights and are denied due process if the illusion of public safety is achieved.
Yes Perception is king, but they can't see the forest for the trees, as knee jerking is going to bite full scale at some point. When a unauthorized heavy hammer comes out for a cockroach that is very telling, as the message that is being sent is they are either very desperate, or what to send a strong message to those with the same logic train. A miscalculation during these times could quickly lead to another Athens Tenn event in many places at once,...

The biggest question here is why you need red flag laws to deal with mentally ill people who are a threat. Why can’t you just take them to court and have them committed?

Couldn’t find anything newer
"Court records show Kohfield first landed on the FBI’s radar in March after he sent a letter to Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw that detailed how he and other veterans would systematically kill antifa members if Congress didn’t take steps to declare them a terrorist organization."

So it smells like the whole thing was primed and put in motion by Dan McCain Crenshaw.

FBI seize firearms of Marine who wanted to “slaughter” Antifa.

Gov = FBI

Antifa = Gov

Your math lesson for the day.
George Soros/Joe Biden/Obama/Kamala Harris/FBI/ DOJ= Head of Antifa

“Everyone beware. They're (Antifa /BLM riots) are not gonna stop before election day in November, and they're not gonna stop after election day ... They’re not gonna let up, and they should not.” -Kamala Harris

Or at least research the recipient. Crenshaw is a CFR guy.
Besides "Jocko" Willink, I've noticed most former SEALS to be Left leaning.

Don shipley himself said CNN, MSNBC and Youtube did a geat job verifying his claims and he had full confidence in them, until Youtube canned him for bullying.

How many do you know? I had about 150 of them as coworkers and the vast majority were not left leaning, although there were more left leaning SEALs than CAG/SF guys or MARSOC guys.
