OT: Europeans- ID painting please?

I put this on craigslist to give it away and when I told people someone was ahead of them they started increasing their bid on it.
I've pulled the ad and one guy said he collects church icons and would give me $100 for it.
He also said it looks European and explained why but I forgot...
I just got suspicious, is this European?
I know who Saint Mildred is but I'm trying to ID the painting.

This is a very simple painting of a painting. When ever you go to London Museum, for example, you'll find Many "artists" in the museum, with their pads, studying and sketching in their pads "copies" of famous works. This particular painting has been "copied" many times. When viewed next to the original, all becomes clear. I don't know where the original is, I was referencing the London Museum as an example of daily copying.
