OT R/C drone vid

Thought I'd share this, cumulative flights of my flying wing, although it's only gone out 3 miles I'm putting it into retiremnet, maybe...
She's been repaired and has flown again but whether I do my 12 mile flight to teh top of the local mountains or not is up in the air, pardon the pun

Nice video, and beautiful country up there, AL, thanks for shareing. Couple of questions...

How big is that thing, and how big do they make them?
What kind of payload?
Can you really get a 12 mile range?
What do they cost?
What sort of gov. regulations are there...ie: could you fly it over a football stadium and video the game...or over a nudist colony

The wingspan is about 58" - almost 5'

Yes, 12 miles is completely possible with the extra antenna's I have...(19dbi Yagi)...

Probably $1500 total investment into the ground station, plane, goggles, video system, DVR recorder -

No on football stadiums, FAA regs, yes on nudist colony
