I was hoping to find someone who has an older german frame p229 in .40 and a new NH frame 229 in .40 I guess there are some changes.

older ones had stamped slides that were a tad bit beefier, and had internal extractors. The slides were tight fitting and didn't rattle.
Some of the newer slides don't have as good of a fit, they are cnc cut, and have external extractors.
They also came with the zipper back mags.
Not to much has changed though
