+1 Had one found that when I dialed down past around 12x the reticle became unusable - too fine.

I don't bother to go much lower because it tunnels down at around 7.5x, and I don't see the point.

Yeah I noticed that tunneling thing on my 5-25 too.

Re: P4F in a 4-16x S&B?

I have a 4x16x42 with the P4F and find it usable between 8 and 16 power and do not use it below 8. I like the least amount of target covered as possible while having a reticle that is still usable in the field. I almost went with a standard P4 but noticed to many people were sending them in to be converted to P4F. Several shooters have complained that even the P4F is to thick. The P4 would be better if you are shooting in the lower power range more often. There is a P4 reticle that is now in between both the P4 and P4F. This might be the way to go.
