Guys I am sorry I tried to find a similiar thread in a search but no luck. What I am trying to find out is this. I have a wooden stock that has been primed and spray painted. I want to spray the stock with something that will look similiar to the bumby spiderweb finish used on B@c Stocks. I understand I could use some kind of spary tone textured finish but I was not sure it would harden enough. What I would like to do is spray my stock for the bumby effect and then spray overit agin with brownells clear low sheen alumihyde II for durability. anyone have any info on wether or not this would give satisfactory results befire I spend 30 bucks on paint and scew up a stack?
