Gunsmithing Paint for my barell

I would like to paint my barrel on my Remington 700p. What type of paint should I use? Also I would like to paint the stock too. Is one type of paint better than another on this?

Are you looking for "just a pain job"? Or are you wanting a more durable metal finish? Some of the newer bake on compounds are tough as nails.

what type of paint to you suggest? where do you get this paint and how much does it cost?
