Simple to do, cleaned good with denatured alcohol and shot the rattle can Krylon to it. After the Krylon set up, overcoated with a light coat of satin polyurethane.

Krylon it like you would the rest of the rig. It'll wear off at the cheekweld, but so what? That parts hidden

Re: Painting a Saddle Cheekrest?

I just finished wrapping an integral cheeckrest with 2mm neoprene foam, Peel and Stick Foamies Craft Foam comes in many colors, some artistic shapes, 2mm, 3mm, and 5mm thicknesses, several sheet sizes, with and without adhesive backing. The more common versions can be had at Wal-Mart's craft department, just clean the surface with alcohol and thoroughly dry before application. I just covered my foam over with vinyl tape to make it more durable and washable, and camo vinyl tape is available.
