Fieldcraft Painting a SS Rifle

I guess I posted this in the wrong section before, so here it goes again...

I looking at purchasing a Remington 5r, but I'm not a fan of the SS look. Will there be any issues painting this rifle to eliminate the SS shine from it?


The rifle will be used for target shooting/ hunting.

Yep clean it good and spray away.

Scuffing with a scotch bright pad will help paint stick better but I elect not to scuff or prime so that I can strip off the paint easily if I ever want to.

Thanks for the replies.

I won't scuff it up at all. I plan on changing it for the different seasons. I plan on mostly a Spring-Fall paint and a winter paint.
