Painting a Tikka Tac A1 Chassis

I have the Tikka Tac A1 6.5cm and am wondering about how it would do taking paint.

Anyone have experience painting the Tikka Chassis?
-surface prep
-paint type
-cure time
-durability

Obvious alternative to paint would be a cerakote finish.

Prep is key, coat all that you don't want paint going into. Degrease with alcohol. Prime with something that'll "bond" to the surface of your tikka chassis. Never done a tac a1 chassis myself but done a couple other rifles with great results.
