Curious on opinions of pan vs no pan on your bipods? Primary use will be hunting, with LR practice being secondary.

Looking to upgrade my Harris to an Atlas or Evolution most likely.

I had pan on one of my old atlas’ and I never used it. I now have a cal and I find myself using the can’t more often than I probably should.

The 2 best bipeds on the market are the thunderbeast my favorite. It’s lite and super stable with a ton of adjustments and the atlas cal. For shooting prone. They rule the roost on your belly. For a dedicated hunting rifle I would also take a good long look at the ckye pod. Some of the models allow you to shoot all the way from low prone to sitting or kneeling. That could be very useful for hunting

That CKYE does look intriguing. I'll take a look at that one as well.

Went from Atlas to Thunderbeast then back to the Atlas.

I like the pan ability, especially matches shooting off random props. The TBAC was more stable from prone. But not enough to give up the versatility of the pan feature.
