I am looking for a PDA with good batt life and a program that will give me the dope at any given range out to say 1800 yards. Can I get a few ideas. I need something simple but accurate.

+1 for iTouch/iPhone and FTE. Lowest cost solution out there. And dare I say the best.

Other than Ebal what is good for Palm? My Palm rechargable lasts for a month. Exbal has worked well for me so far.

Not much is supporting Palm anymore.. Windows Mobile is more common and more powerful an OS to run the calculations.

That's what I have found. Once my Palm dies I'm looking to go to an Android phone and try the balistic program Bryan Litz helped develop. It has all the newest features. The Shooter program is only $9.99 http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/tools/shooter-ballistics_fqyd.html?related

It does not have to be a phone:
The Archos 5 runs the app as well, and can be found new for $300.00 or less.
Of course, it will not have the built-in compass and inclinometer.
