so I was looking at the magpul moe K grip on magpul's site and read how the grip is angled differently to be "optimized" for pdw type weapons. A quick search yielded nothing on pdw weapons and rifle grip angle. So can someone enlighten me to the pros and cons of having the grip angled differently and is it only optimized for PDWs?

Re: PDW type grip angle question

I've tried one on my collapsable stock Colt 6940 that I shoot fully collapsed/nose to charging handle.

The grip is angled a lot less to the rear, so you can hold your wrist straighter when shooting.

The downside is that the MOE-K is really small, too small for me so I switched back.

If you had a SBR'ed AR and were trying to keep as small a footprint as possible, or really small hands, the MOE-K might be worth it.

Edit: There are other grips out there with steeper angles on them that aren't as small
