Wow, Strong responses! Seeking understanding what may or may not have happened, is not seeking "blame". .
Like someone said, whatever happened made me who I am. Put myself through college, paid for it myself. I have worked for myself half of my career, paid for house, etc...Understanding why we are, the way we are is important.
Like I said, the individuals are likely long gone, but the system that enables this filth still exists. Maybe others can be spared such cruelty.
