For those of you that have owned both Pelican 1750 and Nanuk 995 cases or chose one over the other, which do you prefer and why?

Im3300 over both. Lighter and can take a full 26" barreled rifle. This is important for air travel to keep weight down so you don't get hit with extra fees.

If you aren't traveling by air...hard cases are a complete waste of money.

Smother latches on the im3300 too

IM3300 without foam. Get an AG or the cheaper GAP soft case. Take off scope. Throw gun in soft case and put in hard case with tripod, rod and clothing to fill space. This will get you right under 50lb limit. You can take off internal weights from gun as well and throw in carry on to save weight. Same for a gamechanger.
