I have an older 3x9 Lightseeker and I can shoot a lot longer after the sun sets vs a regular scope with no light enhancing coatings. The newer ones are suppose to be be better but have not tried one. Was told that now the same lenses can be had on the Burris scopes as Burris builds the Lightseeker for Pentax but can not confirm that. Pentax closed its doors to the public here in Denver CO and you cant even drop off a scope for repairs anymore, you must mail it to them. You cant buy or check out a scope from them any more at their office so I have lost interest in them.

I have an old 4-16X and it's light gathering capabilities are astounding and the glass is exceptionally clear. Very, very fine duplex reticle.
