I remember reading a couple of posts where bemch rest shooters permanently bonded their actions to their chassis. I have a fn pbr which i was experimenting doing this with on a hogue or hs stock. Does anyone know what epoxy people use? I also remember a guy on here who demated an aiat and had it installed on a separate chassis. Still trying to find that post to figure out which smith dis the work. If anyone remembers please holler? Was it on the ai pic thread
Update... found the demating post

Lol good point. Point taken. So apart from hs precision are there other stocks for the mod 70 which has an aluminum bedding block. Btw i know mdt has the ess, this is more an experiment. I am hoping to find an epoxy like what ai uses seeing as how high heat can be used to demate it

Br shooters used to glue in actions in the stock, but if you have ever bedded anything there is always some slop to clean up that gets oozed out into trigger inlet or mag opening in the stock. I'm not sure what ai uses to glue theres in, but on br guns that were glued in, if the bond breaks loose(which it will) groups would go to hell. I think for that reason alone I'd steer clear of glue ins, except for AI's.

Interesting. My idea was to glue and bolt the action. Although now that i further consider it, probably nothing to be gained by glueing it in. Probabaly just pillar bed it and shoot and not worry about further bedding it unless it doesnt shoot
