Need at attach an flash hider for good. I googled a bit and found this thread at ARF.com which looks pretty good.

Silver Braze is what I need, but at $65 a pop, plus a torch I kinda feel I'm getting to a price point where I should just get a smith to do it.

Can you use a OXY ACCT torch (worried about getting to hot) and just go easy with it and just do this myself?

Any smith's you can recomend?

Only cost me $40 to have a smith pin it and it looked great. Drilled out a small area, did a small countersink in the flashhider and then dropped the pin in and welded over top of it. Then he took a file and smoothed out the area of the weld and did a quick cold blue or oxpho-blue over it. It's a fairly simple job and any reputable smith around your area should be able to do it without issue.
